Future Promises Foundation would like to invite you to participate in and/or donate to our Back to School Festival and Book-Bag Giveaway to support hundreds of at-risk/ low income children and youth in the city of Wilmington Delaware. We are accepting donations through August 18, 2022.

After a year of major adjustments, you can imagine that the first day of school for many children will be an exciting experience and a great opportunity to begin the school year. Yet even in that excitement But there are a number of children with families that can’t afford school supplies like crayons, pencils, erasers or book bags and so many other necessities.

This year The Future Promises Foundation, with its unique mission; of inspiring youth empowerment and social change for children, youth, and families through education, positive youth development and leadership, will partner with Wilmington Head Start’s Block Party to host the fourth annual Back to School Festival & Book-bag Giveaway.  Over the last few years we’ve reached over 600 children within the community.  This year we are hoping to reach so many more and with your help we believe that we can.    

Our financial goal to purchase book bags and school supplies is $5000.  However any amount, or item donation would be a great help to our outreach, and we ask that you would please consider making that donation.  Our organization is non-profit under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, so your donation is fully tax-deductible.

Our U.S. Tax ID number is 81-5030643. Your business will also be mentioned in our monthly newsletter on our website and social media, in addition to your logo on being placed on T-Shirts, printed material and other apparel given to our youth on this day and throughout our programs.  We are expecting well over 500 families with youth to participate and could really use your help to get the children in our community off to a great start.
