The Future Promises Foundation, Inc. recently held a Back to School Festival and Book-bag giveaway for at-risk and low-income children in Wilmington. For the past three years the nonprofit organization has helped over 800 children in Wilmington with free services, resources, back-packs and school supplies.

Greater Kings & Queens Chess Program (after-school)

An after-school program using a dynamic chess curriculum designed to address behaviors leading to youth violence, victimization and poor academic performance of underprivileged youth in the city of Wilmington.

The Anomaly Project (Peer Leadership Mentoring Program)

A peer leadership and mentoring program that promotes high achievement though academics and entrepreneurship as a way of decreasing adolescent and juvenile crime.

Future Promises Foundation addresses the need for youth development, after-school programming, and community engagement of the low-income children and families throughout New Castle County but primarily in the city of Wilmington.
